Apr 16Youtube has changed there api and the way to get videos. That’s why few days back youtube videos stopped playing on ZD YouTube FLV Player.
I updated the player and youtube proxy.

You only put the code on the sidebar and in the post make the field video with the address of your video

but it still displays Error for YouTube videos.. what seemed to be the problem?
No. You cannot. You need to use full path.
This is a wonderful posting, I located your blog page looking around aol for a similar content and came to this. I couldnt come across to much other information on this post, so it was awesome to locate this one. I will be back to check out some other articles that you have another time.
can i change “http://www.yourdomain.com/videos/myvideo.flv” with this code “../videos/myvideo.flv”
I love youtube but it can have some bad things on it. Like with illegal material and things.

Great Plugin! Very needed!
I’m looking for 2 things.
1. How do I setup a screenshot before the play button is pressed. Right now, it just shows black screen until play button is pressed.
2. How do we setup a new theme.swf file to work with your plugin? It would be great to have a theme with a white background and overlayed hoverable nav buttons. Similar to the default FLV player in CS4. Very minimalist player that appears to be invisible until you hover it.
Any help is appreciated!
Can you designate a poster image for a:
1. Local file on my website; and
2. Associated with a remote file on youtube?
If so, how? Does the url to the image
get added into the embed code like:

Could you add a feature to have a preview of the clip as a screenshot before you press play?
